Fardah Roshan Academy Opens Our Library Inside a Transformed Bakery

In May 2021, our library officially opened to the public! See the transformation below.

This is what the library looked like prior to our renovation.

This is what our library looks like now!

See the progress our students had made during their first semester!

Week 1: Students working on marker tracing worksheets during their first week of class. This activity allows students to practice hand-eye coordination and become familiar with the feel of writing utensils, such as markers.

Week 7: After seven weeks of learning letters, phonetics, and 'letter partners', students can start to spell. Here, a student spells the Farsi word for 'sister'.

Week 10: Students answering basic addition questions. At this point in the semester, students can recognize math symbols (such as the addition sign) and add single digit numbers.

We also participated in the 2021 Project for Awesome (P4A2021) in February! Take a look to see the overview of our first semester
